Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2017: The Bank of Maharashtra, one of the premier banks in India, is looking for talented and hard working individuals for the post of Manager (Middle Management Grade Scale – 2) Security Officer. There are 13 vacancies of this post, out of which nine are for the unreserved category candidates, three for the OBC and one for the SC. The number of vacancies specified here is provisional and may change in accordance with the bank’s actual requirement. Candidates selected for this post can be posted at any location in India.

Educational Qualification

Candidates wishing to apply for this post must be graduated in any field. This degree must have been awarded by an authentic university or institute. They also need to have knowledge of working with computers. This criterion is mandatory. All those who do not have it, they must obtain it within six months of the joining date. Additionally, it is essential to have knowledge of the Hindi language, before completing the probationary period.

Experience Requirement

Candidates must have been an Officer in Air Force, Navy or Army, and must have done commissioned service for at least five years. They must not have the position which is below the Captain’s rank, or the rank below that of the Assistant Commandant (if worked in Para Military forces), or the rank not below that of the Assistant Superintendent or Deputy Superintendent of Police (if worked in Police Forces). Additionally, they must have exemplary character, and the same must have been mentioned in the candidates’ discharge book.

Age Limit

The age of the candidates must not be less than 25 years or more than 40 years.

Application Fee

The application fee plus imitation charges for the candidates of the general and OBC candidates is Rs 600. The same for the PWD, ST and SC candidates is Rs 100.

How to Apply

Candidates need to visit the official portal of the Bank of Maharashtra and click on the section named ‘Recruitment’. This section has a link named ‘Online application for Security Officer Recruitment’ which must be opened, and then they must click on the option named ‘Apply Online’. This will display a new tab on the browser. For registering the application, the tab named ‘Click for new registration’ must be opened. Here, the name of the candidate, email id and contact details must be entered. The system will generate a provisional password and registration number will be provided on the computer screen. These details must be noted down. The same will also be sent through SMS and email id.

The registration details mentioned above can then be used to open the online application form. The details in this form must be filled up correctly and carefully and must be verified before submission of the form. After filling up all details, candidates will be asked to upload scanned copies of photo and signature. Before finally submitting the filled form, candidates can review and verify their forms.
